Birthday / Simpsons

It's my birthday on monday (6th August) and in the usual spirit of preparedness I haven't gotten around to thinking about it until now. But I was thinking maybe having people round to the house and cooking food and then maybe playing games later. So the question is - who's up for that? I'll have to through people out at around 10.30 or 11 because

Ooh.. I'd love to come to your party, and I can bring some food along or help cook or something, so that the whole vegan-ness thing isn't too much of an inconvenience..

My only reason to be thingy is that I do sometimes write about work/patient stuff, and though I am careful to de-identify both myself and the case in point, it's probably worth my while being a little extra careful.
