The drive down here yesterday kind of sucked...dealing with the Bay Bridge and it's hellish traffic...yikes.  I made it down to Richmond from Middletown in about 4 hours, got here and tried to make friends but people have already kind of built up their little cliques, so I walked around the little area the hotel is in for a little bit and came back ( Read more... )

I spoke with my Store Manager today, first time we've talked since I found out I was getting promoted.  She wants me to stay until August to make sure we are good to go with Inventory.  Honestly, I'm OK with this, but I don't expect it to happen.  Once the drug test results are back I have a feeling I'll be in Elkton the next week.  I am excited, I ( Read more... )

I've been so busy the past week+ that I haven't had time to make a proper post here.  I'm on my phone so I will just give the highlights

I interviewed for the Assistant Manager opening in Milford and did really well...but that's a moot point because I got the position in Elkton!

I got an email from the Store Manager of the Elkton store today asking me what my schedule is like this week so we can set up an interview.  I am an odd mix of happy, nervous, and excited.  Here is to hoping it goes well!

I'm determined not to make my return to LJ a bitch fest, I would like it to be a collection of thoughts from my day. :)

I made a rediculously yummy dinner tonight, I took chicken breasts, put cheese inside them, wrapped them in bacon, and baked them in bbq sauce.  Oh My OMG

I am writing in my LJ again, and trying my best to do it daily.  It feels good to get thoughts out a little more than just little blurbs on FB and G+.  If you don't see much it's because you're either 1) not signed in to LJ or 2) not my 'friend' on LJ

I came home today for lunch to find 3 wasps in between the front two doors, then came home from work at the end of my day to find one in the kitchen.  Needless to say I'm not a happy camper.  I can't seem to find the nest.  I hope it's not on the roof, the incline up there is really steep.  I am sitting back enjoying a glass of pink pink ( ( Read more... )
