First off, got my stitches taken out today. Actually more like dug out, they had healed faster than expected. Thumb itself feels really weird, lost a lot of feeling in it and it was hard to move. It's still got to be in a cast for 2 more weeks though. I'm just scared I won't be able to draw as well when I finally get it off. Guess we'll see ( Read more... )

Well I broke my right hand. It wasn't even a cool kung fu fight or drunken rage. It was a loose brick and a fall to the ground. Next morning it was all green and swollen so I went to the krankenhaus (hospital) where they told me (in broken english) that it was broken and would require an operation to fix. Ok well I passed my driver's test so now I can cruise around Europe via horseless carriage. Doesn't really matter to me much, but it is better that I did get my license so my sergeants don't think I'm all f'ed up. Well today I take the USAEUR driver's test to see whether or not I will be allowed to drive around Germany. I don't really want to because it is crazy but we are required to get one anyway. Whatever. Yeah, it's totally cold here in Germany. Dark, cloudy, damp and cold.
