For all of you who don't know, I spent the first month of my summer at Trent University at a program called Shad Valley. I didn't know what to expect and I felt so alone when I first left for it. I think I'm destined to be a red-head no matter what color I try to dye my hair. Next time, I'm trying blue. :(

Today has been a good day so far. I went to school, which was pretty good. I didn't do much of interest, as usual, but I did have robotics after school. I got to use lots of different machines today, and I got hit with a lot of metal sparks. They don't actually hurt (that much) compared to my beliefs, so that's good. So, it turns out I'll be spending about half my summer in Petersbourough (how ever it's spelt!) which for those of you who don't know, is in southern Ontario and is also the city where you can find Trent Unniversity.
