Every so often
Every so often I realize that I'm nowhere near my full potential. I realize that at this point in my life I would have to work twice as hard and twice as long to get anywhere near that potential.
Sometimes I feel like a lost cause. -

A New Day
I took my own advice from yesterday. Today was a really good day. I woke up early. Erm, well, early for me. I got up and did a bunch of yardwork including relocating a couple of small trees and potting a few Japanese Maple sprouts. okay, I'm genuinely not sure whether this is a euphemism or a straight question...
Interestingly both answers for me are similar...
Baseball:
It was tee-ball actually. I hit the ball, got to first and was so excited as was the kid who picked up the ball. He threw it to first for no apparent reason and beaned me in the head.
