Great idea. Almost certainly would destroy the nation's economy if implemented. Note that while FDR's policies provided relief, they did not revive the economy. Note also that the article noted Sweden's low unemployment rate, yet Sweden is on the verge of economic collapse. I assume Greenspan would have a heart attack if anyone seriously proposed this to him.
