That was harsh.... But so on canon it isn't funny. Beautifully write and heartbreaking in it's intensity. I just loved it... And got depressed right along with you

We share the same sentiments/fears about these two on what MAY happen in S3 as soon as Stefan becomes St. Stefan again... I'm sure most of the other Delena fans as well. I think that the writers genuinely want to give us wat WE want, but they have to do it in a painstakingly slow process, since Elena, on countless occassions, have said that she loves Stefan...that it'll always be Stefan (excuse me while I vomit in my mouth!).

Anyway, what I'm hoping for is that, in the end, Damon will finally stop being second best, that he is MORE than enough, and that Elena is actually worthy of his love. *sigh*

These two consume me... On and off the show! Lol

You are right. Every time Elena touched him when Damon is vulnerable, it pushed him over the edge. That was how Jessica incident happened in The Descent - some of us truly believe that if Elena just went home as Damon told her instead of hugging him. He might still be able to hold it.

It is a lovely written piece but so sad. It is so sad because it is so realistic for the show - we can see this happened once St Stefan was back.

Being a Delena fan is no good thing - there is so much torture for us and the couple.

But that is what made us love them so much. Their story is truly amazing.

And to be honest, I still think that after all the odds they have to face, Delena must be endgame in the show.

Reading this made me miss your canon story, hope you will write some more later.

I love this, its so intense, sad, and filled with angst... I could see Elena maybe asking this of Damon or at least talking with him about the "switch" at somepoint... Hopefully they will build on there friendship next season and have them get some tension out of the way...
