This was utterly brilliant!! I completely agree that Elena still has so many issues to deal with over Stefan, and she and Damon can never be together until she hashes all that out. (though I love to *un-complicate* them in my fics-lol) In staying with the reality of the show; it's not that simple, but I *am* getting sick of watching Damon *suck it up* so to speak. You know what I mean?
I know this isn't the *popular* thought, but I didn't mind the hook up with Rebekah last week at all... I think Damon needs to stop hanging on Elena's every breath and just do his own thing because then she'll realize (a little quicker) what she's losing. It's simple Psych 101-you want what you can't have anymore. That is a fundamental human emotion. It's one of the basic primal instincts that shows how flawed we areas human beings. lol!
Anyhow, I loved how you disected all of their motivations and emotions here.

I didn't mind the D/R hook-up. I think a lot of people were saying, if only Elena knew what she was missing out on LOL.

Would love to see an O/S about Damon & Elena, and durability.

Totally agree with the AN. Not only did the negativity know no bounds, but it made my depression 10x worse. I'm better now, but I had to shut off my computer and turn on a funny film after talking to my friend for over an hour.

Anyways, I loved it. I always love your stories :)

While mostly everyone is literally pissed at Elena for what she did to Damon,(and even to Elijah)it really felt like she was confused to me. She didn't mean what she said to Damon but she don't know how to deal with his love. She still has feelings for Stefan but I don't think she knows what they really are anymore.

She refuse to be another Katherine and that is also a big part of the reasons she fights so hard against her feelings for Damon. I think Damon and Rebekah's wild night is a good thing because Elena will finally realize she feels something stronger than she thought for Damon and that she needs to sort out her feelings for Stefan too.

You did a great job with this one shot. I really loved it. You should write an episode! I'm sure it'll be perfect!

M, do continue this pls...it's very therapeutic. I'd like to believe that the writers have a bigger plan for Delena and all that they do will result in a Delena end game. It's just that the way they go by about it is pretty effed up and my poor Delena heart just shatters everytime.
