I love that the town rallied around Elena to make Damon feel the full effect of his impulsive behaviour!!!

Their sexual tension and competitiveness are spot on and have me dying for the next chapter.

Abandoning my work (I just call it a very long coffee break) to finally catch up.

I could totally picture Damon's frustrated face when Liz pulled him over for "speeding" again. That was absolutely funny.

Glad he apologized for prom night, and for having her be taken off of her story, but there is still a lot of air that needs to be cleared between them. That doesn't, however, take away from the fact that there is also attraction there.

Couples bonding exercises - now this could get very interesting ...

I love how Melody + The Town (not to be confused with Florence + The Machine =P ) were greatly responsible for Elena getting back on the story. I'm not sure.. if I were Elena's position with him at dinner, I could have been so polite, though. Ween all the apologies from him I could, get back on the story, and leave. Screw dinner. But then again, she's kinda/sorta/mostly in the love with the man, despite what she claims otherwise =P

Damon, you just got TOLD! Hahaha, I was sitting here grinning like an idiot throughout their whole exchange. Absolutely brilliant! Ooh, and now the bet! I love this story so much, it's just fantastic!
