Good morning! Happy September Sunday to you all. September is the month we traditionally associate with harvest here in the UK, and so I felt it might be timely and appropriate to post a photo under the cut of this morning's haul from my allotment and the hedgerows nearby.

Everyone says this has been an exceptionally difficult year for growing produce, owing to the weather, so I'm pleased and grateful to have enjoyed a modicum success with some of my crops. Needless to say, I'm hoping for a normal, damp year next year!

Nice to hear that your carrots are tiny but still delicious!

A friend tried one of the tiny carrots and remarked that that was how carrots used to taste in the 'olden days'!

What a beautiful harvest! I can practically smell the earthy freshness just looking at this photo. ^-^
Love your grateful spirit ♥ I'm honoured to be in your circle now. *hugs*
And my day...was great. I cleaned all day on Friday and most of yesterday so I really just relaxed and caught up on a very good book. ^-^
