my town ranks third in the best city ever contest, and i fucking hate it here.

what's also great is that half of my family lives in Merced, about 3 hours away, and it's almost the worst city to live in.

you must take into account the scenery, the wineries, and the general white middle to upper class ness of san luis.

Low crime rate, moderate weather, stuff to do.
