It's been a while since i posted and i always forget where i am in the monthly meme!  i will start with the Friday Five, on this rather chilly morning.  My neighbour Helen and i are going to estimate how many pavers/slabs it will take to put a path down the garden so we can get down to the end in comparative safety over bumpy grass and ground.  It'

Nice idea to have a pathway - it would be lovely to have a little patio area too wouldn’t it.

A little patio area could be nice, but there's the problem of where we would have it. The garden is longer rather than square and there is a circular path around grass at the far end, where i'd like to have the seat. Purely selfish in that it is somewhere to rest if you want to walk the garden but walking that far-ish is close to my limit, even with a stick. We had a rough estimate of 52' walkable. Pathetic really but we're all old ladies, some more than others. There's at least four of us interested in having a new seat and i know our youngsters above me like sitting in the garden too. Our Champion came round to have a look himself without being asked, nice man, and seems to be in favour. He just needs to ask for the money to do it.
