Best not to dwell on those negative premonitions if possible. If something "bad" actually happens, it doesn't have anything to do with your anticipation that it might have happened. Something "bad" is *always* about to happen, after all. (Just pick up today's paper.) As is something "good." (Though you won't read about it in today's paper.) Thousands of years of superstition about anticipating (and on some level being responsible for) events over which one really has no control have not led to any tangible evidence of this being the case.
