So Amanda, Olivia, and Zach Armstrong tried to throw me a surprise party tonight. But I didn't get the message to come back to the dorm. Zach even went out in the rain to look for me. I feel really bad, but I am amazed by how wonderful they are are.

Last night was hellish. One of the most emotionally exhausting evenings of my life. (Like the alliteration?). I was so glad to see the sun this morning.

Also, never underestimate the powers of unexpected compliments and random acts of kindness.

Laurie Wolf might just be my new favorite person.

Sometimes, the only thing you can do is be utterly and completely ridiculous. Right now, I'd much rather have someone to make me laugh than a shoulder to cry on.

I love Amanda and Olivia and Zach Armstrong so ridiculously much right now.

Okay, so the reasons to hate Sarah Palin just keep getting more and more numerous but this one really disgusts me and I hadn't heard of it before--and you can be sure it's not going to get mentioned on the campaign trail because it's not a "big issue". Today was one of those beautiful weather days that was perfect for flowy skirts and reading in the crim dell meadows and biking into CW and being in love and feeling pretty.

I like days like that.

I think I'm really going to like Stage Managing.
