hello~ i've tried this tutorial but i don't know why it doesn't work. Whenever I merge down the layers, the top layer is the layer that'll only remain. Sorry, I'm still new with making gifs ^^"

Sorry about the time but i just read your comment :P
hmm i guess you´re talking about step 13? well i that case, maybe you just merged ALL the layers at once, if that´s so i can see why it doesn´t work; what you have to do is to merge each base layer with it´s rain clip, just like step 11. just go to the layes window and right click on each base layer, and click on merge down :)
Please, let me know if you still have problems with it or if you were talking about sometjing else, and i´ll be happy to help you :)

It's very tricky, you're not so good on the details and I don't think I'll bother trying this...It would be a wonderful tutorial if you were more clear. The outcome was really good, just please explain it better so we can learn how to do it.

This tut is lovely and that's exactly what I was looking for but I've got a small problem: when I open the animated layer in GImp there's only one layer as if I had saved the image in Jpeg or Png. And I've got the same problem with other animated layers I have.
Do you know if there's something in Gimp I need to change?? *full of hope*

But anyway, thank you very much for the tut!
