What I really love about you as a writer and about this fic is that you don't sacrifice the integrity of these characters and who they are for the sake of the story. You can feel that this is Blaine and this is Kurt and this is Beiste as we know them, had their circumstances been shifted and the changes that are wrought in them aren't unbelievable, but feed from what has happened to them and the choices they've made. I can tell you've put real, conscious thought into how their surroundings and circumstances have shaped who they are as people, but it hasn't made them unrecognizable from the characters that we already know and love. You capture their core and I absolutely adore that about this fic, because too often the popular fandom tropes like these strip (pun fully intended) the characters of any semblance of self, to the point where they may as well be OC's with a familiar name slapped on. I love that

that phone conversation was sensational. loved how you portrayed blaine's dad. also love how you put tina and puck as kurt's companions. they're not the usual combination, but they work really well together. awesome work on the details of each scene and the minutae of the characters too. x

I'm glad that you liked Puck & Tina too, because I toiled with who to use to counteract the Puckness of Puck without dragging the fun level down to zero. I watched BIOTA for research Tina jumped out as the friend I'd want to go to the strip club with, or to the karaoke bar with.

I have so many feelings for Blaine's father, too. I can't even.
