10-Year Retrospective

Oct 21, 2013 13:35

I can hardly believe it, but I started this journal a decade ago, in October of 2003. I know I obviously haven't used this journal for, well, journaling in a long time, but a 10-year anniversary deserves a post, no?

From 21 to 31... )

You are so wonderful... ms_moodified October 22 2013, 13:50:53 UTC
I was about to start a sap response for the ages with this comment, but then I realized I might end up embarrassing you in front of your LJ readers, and that simply wouldn't do. So, I'm just gonna tell you this (at least publicly…you're totally getting the sappy version in private, missy ( ... )

Sweetie, I don't think I have any lj readers anymore. When I told ya this post was pretty much for you...I meant it! So, no worries about embarrassing me because I don't think anybody reads this lj now. (Though, if anyone does, I likely couldn't care less what they'd think about whatever you wrote!)

Speaking of making things public (at least "public" in the online world :-P)...how would you feel about me changing my relationship status on Facebook to being in a relationship with you? LOL. I know it's silly, but I've kinda been wanting to do that for a while now. You have to understand, for as long as I've had any social media account/profile (whether on Livejournal, or Facebook, and even going to back MySpace and Friendster!), I've never had the opportunity to change my relationship status from "Single". *pout* So, whaddya say?

Either way, thanks for the lovely comment. I'm looking forward to receiving the sappy version in private. ;-)

p.s. What you call "nonsense" I call a "frank and pragmatic assessment of reality". :-P

Ay, so cute.

Baby, your name next to mine would look perfect to me in just about anyplace you want to write it. *grins and nods approvingly*

Stumbled upon LHDP and Pepa & Silvia story accidentally only about 4 weeks ago and like many, am absolutely hooked, obsessed and totally in love with their love story. I'm watching pepsienglish1 on you tube over and over again (seeing the dreadful scenes only once), been through all fanfic on LJ numerous times, but keep returning to your Siempre Hay Algo Mas and Todo Lo Que Tengo again and again (read both, as well as all your other entries at least 3 times now). My opinion might not mean much to you, but I think your writing is absolutely amazing and fabulous. Whilst other writers mostly continue with mafia thing and blood and gore, your writing keeps me on the edge of my seat but without blood and torture and that's why I love it most. I am certain that I am not the only one that thinks this way and I sincerely hope that YOU WILL CONTINUE WRITING YOUR STORIES. I know that I will keep coming back to check on any updates from you. Please continue writing ( ... )

I was thinking about the Pepsi days and how fun they were. Your username is one of the few I really remember and I searched it on livejournal. I'm gonna say not in a creepy way because it sounds creepy. But not in a creepy way. xD Anyway, I saw this post and I couldn't help but feel so happy for you and thought to wish you all the best. Even though it's been like, 3 years since you wrote it.

Hope life is awesome!

This is Junebuggy btw.

Hey, Junebuggy! It's really nice to hear from you (and not creepy at all). :D We sure did have some good (and smutty smut-filled) times back in the PepSi days, lol!

Life is pretty awesome right now. Isabel (ms_moodified) spent the last school year studying in Seattle so we could be closer...and we just got married in June before she had to return home. About three weeks ago, we were in Spain and Portugal for our honeymoon and to visit her friends and family. We've got another year of living apart ahead of us while we go through the immigration process, but things are looking up!

How's life been treating you?

Wow! That's so great! Happy to hear :) Congratulations to you and Isabella! 🎉 A honeymoon in Spain and Portugal sounds amazing.

For me, my story is a bit similar. I met my girlfriend through the Pepsi universe. We just recently got married, about 6 days ago 😊 She still hasn't come to her senses and finds me lovable. xD When we first started talking she lived in Chile and we started a long distance relationship, but she was super lucky (and talented) to be able to find a job in Washington and attained an H1-B1 visa. So, after years apart, we were able to move in together. But now we're stuck in a process of getting her her green card

Other than the green card though, my life has been pretty sweet. I have a wife and a cute dog. I couldn't be happier!

I hope nothing but awesome things for you both! And again, congratulations! It's amazing how love works, huh?

By the way, on assumption that you visited or live/lived in Washington, isn't it such a pretty state? Just a random side note 😂

That's awesome! Congrats to you and your wife! I still can't believe that I am where I am right now because of Los Hombres de Paco. *rofl* The PepSi fandom sure did bring a lot of people together, and I'm glad to hear you're one of the ones who found love through of it.

We just started the whole green card process ourselves. I'm crossing my fingers for things to go smoothly...but what are the chances of that happening? Ha. We'll just have to deal as best we can.

Washington is a gorgeous state, though I've only visited Seattle/Tacoma twice. Isabel already misses it a whole lot, though, so I know we'll go back to visit again someday. Hell, maybe we'll move there...who knows? Once she gets her butt over her, the possibilities are endless. ;)

Thanks for dropping a line and I wish you and the missus all the best!
