Title: Clay Figurines and Cigarettes A/N: A story about two great friends for two great friends. Dear charliechaplin2, dear ellorgast: happy (belated) birthday.
Oh my gosh, Lytton I have to go in like two seconds because I have to go shopping for some artichoke seeds but how can't do that if my eyes are welling up with happy tears of gooey wonderfulness?! This is so funny and adorable and amazing and I am sure Spirit will agree that this is a most awesome birthday gift. Thank you so so so so so so very much. I will leave a proper review and talk to you ASAP.
This was beautiful. Their friendship, Ando's worries, the SUNBURN!!!!!! It's all perfect. Absolutely perfect.
I love that you go shopping for things like artichoke seeds. I wouldn't even know what to do with artichoke seeds. Perhaps scatter them on a meadow and wait for nature to take its course?
Umino really does need more credit. He is the most balanced, the most grounded of all the boys. Very few things faze him and Ando isn't one of them.
And Ando loves travelling, loves seeing the world, but he oh so loves his people too, mainly Minako and Umino (Rei is a whole other kettle of fish). Umino coming to Tel Aviv with him means the world to him, it's everything and more. Oh, the bromance!
I love it! And now I want terribly to go traveling too. The sunburn is like a whole other character here :) My favorite parts were the opening scene, when Ando anticipates that Umino has forgotten his sunglasses, the heat-induced insomnia night, and of course the ending.
Ando and his cigarette blog, that's high literature right there. I am glad you enjoyed this, my love. Sometimes I think that in all of Airmailverse, Ando/friends is the one true big love story. These people are just meant to be with each other.
