A few words

In times of such loss, need and terror it is up to those who have been placed in positions of influence to reinstate what is truly important.

The Pope, however, still feels that people's private consenting affections are more important than loving and protecting one another. I've always been rather straightforward on my thoughts on the Catholic ( Read more... )

Well you know my constant struggle with my parents over goddamn religion. I always hated church. But then I meet people like my cousin Peter. He was a priest for years and actually, Father Warren reminds me a lot of Peter. Who never discriminates and always speaks of love. I think, if there are enough people out there like them, then religion doesn't have to be a bad thing. Just...taken with a grain of salt.

Or the removal of one dumbarse pope. Augh.

I'm married to a woman. I love her. That is not a sin. It's beautiful.

Arrrrrrrgh. I truly detest that man. I don't understand why anyone would feel it's their place to force their faith on others. None of us are trying to make him believe as we do. I wouldn't dream of trying to convert someone to my Pagan faith, though I would accept anyone willingly. A man like him makes no sense to me.

I don't know if a poly marriage would ever be allowed, but I at least know that I could marry one of my girlfriends if I chose to. Any man or woman who seeks to take that away doesn't deserve to be in any sort of power.

I wish someone like you were in power, Christina. That would make things so much better.

I'm going to be at Spectre's charity gig on Christmas Eve, but I'll definitely donate to the Samsara thing. It's a more than worthy cause.

I'm afraid I'd be no use in power, besides I couldn't handle it. Power corrupts far too easily.

A very worthy cause. Thank you, Renee.

I agree that power has the potential to corrupt, but I've seen good people in power, and use it well. I'd believe in you. But I think it's good that you have the self-awareness not to want it.

You're welcome, Christina. This isn't just close to my heart, it is my heart.

Even though it would probably turn out to be pointless, I should very much like to sit down and have a long, spiritual discussion with the Pope. As you know, I am a deeply spiritual man, and my faith is strong in my heart. I believe in God. I do not presume that any one of us could ever understand his motivations. It is my belief that we should all simply follow our hearts. They will let us know what is right and wrong. Preaching is not the answer.

I have a deep and true respect for you, Christina. I will happily attend your gig at Samsara, and give freely to your - to our - cause. I am not a particularly sexual person, but like you I have had trysts with people whom I was not devoted to. I cannot believe that these acts, at least, make us sinners.

I will have to leave such discussions to you since I left behind my spirituality a long time ago. I'm happily and busily living a life build upon the physical these days.

Thank you, Alexei. Respect is the highest thing we can give to our fellow man (and woman!)

And there is certainly nothing wrong with that. Knowing the way of life that will bring you satisfaction and joy is a powerful and worthy thing.

You're very welcome, Christina. It is a gift I hope to give all who come into my company.
