cause i'm so bored and theres nothing to do i'm gonna blow some money. i got a 200$ gift card for fye and i wanna get some dvd's...anyone know of any good movies?

yeah amelie is my favorite movie, i watch it at least once a week for sad pathetic reasons lol. and thats awsome you have all his films, then you should look for something called an evening with kevin smith on dvd, its like him doing the college circuit taking q and a's , its seriously hilarious.

you have $200 to FYE? holy crap that's a lot of stuff to buy! You should check out Run Lola Run. It's one of my favorites. It stars Franka Potente, who is also in Blow with Johnny Depp (which you should also check out). Yeah, it's in German, but subtitles are cool.
Also see if they have Boondock Saints. It's two Irish brothers in Boston who kill people for God. Try it, you'll love it!

I mostly watch German and Latinamerican movies.
If you like Lola rennt (Run Lola Run), you will probably like other German movies too.
Anatomie (Anatomy, also with Franka Potente) and Das Experiment (The Experiment, also with Moritz Bleibtreu) for example...
Goodbye Lenin! is a good movie too (don't know if it's released in non German speaking countries... I watched it without any subtitles).
Hmm... the most movies with Franka Potente and Moritz Bleibtreu are good I think.

I also like Amores Perros and Cidade de Deus (City of God).

Well my DVD collection consists of goodfellas, casino, memento, interview with a vampire, lord of the rings fellowship & the two towers, matrix, some bruce lee movies, 28 days later, american histor x, the matrix, shrek, 28 days later, the fast & the furious & spiderman.
