The Stand! wow, i saw that ages ago? How long was that? Like six hours? It was brilliant for a mini-series tho.

But get this. a couple years later I read the book. The re-released edition. the 1,100+ page addition. And the movie ended up being incredibly loyal to the book. Which pissed me off while reading it but fuck whatever, kudos to the screenwriter though. you guess should rent sleepwalkers or pet semetary 2, they're hysterical.

ooh, nice to hear a movie was almost as good as the book. that almost never happens. i've seen sleepwalkers and i'm not a fan of sequels...is pet semetary 2 scary/ good ? and yeah, i think the stand was like 6 hours. we had to watch in like 3 days because we had work and other obligations. damn long ass movie.
