Here's the deal... the conference in St. Louis, I have to get a hotel room for. Those go at $95 a room for one night--thankfully, it'll only be one night. However, I was planning on going to Chicago the next weekend to visit Stephane with Rob. Any money that I spend in St. Louis is money that I could be spending in Chicago

Can't you find a cheaper hotel? Either way, I kinda like the idea of swinging on by for the luncheon only, and saving your money for something fun.

Unless you'll be winning first place at this conference or something...

Most hotels downtown, which is where this conference is, are full or higher priced expecting a surge of crazy journalists.

I'm liking the swinging by for the luncheon only option as well....
