I'll be in Capital Hill most of the morning. I've got my 3 hour GD test and I'm just wondering why i'm jumping straight into the 3 hour? Don't most people do a one hour first? Making a pregnant woman fast for 3 hours is cruel and unusual punishment. I'm sitting here trying to eat but it's early and I'm thinking Fuck! Only 8 more minutes to eat!

My sister had an awesome experience there when Cami was dignoised with diabetes two years ago but I've heard that both Erin and Janaya had horrible experiences...I hope it all goes well!

Well the people are nice and we had a reasonable experience both times we were there.

It's the whole maze of offices, go here go there, come back in an hour, left hand doesn't talk to right hand stuff that gets me.

Also there are some Very Sick Kids there, which makes my heart hurt for their families.

I've got to fast for 3 hours but only wait an hour to have my blood drawn...so maybe it is the one hour? I'm obviously confused!

Ah! Then it's just the one hour. And ya know, I swear, I'm thinking this test is more and more bullshit. Everyone I know is given totally different instructions on what you 'have' to do beforehand.

Well, I just finished my mocha 20 minutes ago so my 3 hour fast just turned into 2 1/2 ;)

are you at group health? that's right by my house. :) and yes, three hours of fasting is cruel to do to a pregnant woman...

oh poor joey...that would scare me so much too! i can't wait until this is all over with and you can stop worrying.
