I flipped my phone shut and threw myself onto my bed. Who was that woman? I couldn’t help myself but question the woman’s voice. But Sho had never lied to me until now, so I thought I could trust him. I just needed to calm myself down and ask him about that when he’d call me back later. I closed my eyes and tried to relax my mind, until I heard my cell phone’s ringtone.
Sho? I opened my eyes immediately and saw Sho`s number flashing on my cell phone`s screen.
“Hello, Sho-chan, finished your business already?” I asked.
He laughed softly, “Almost…”
“Almost?” I asked clueless.
“Yes… I just need to do the the final touch…” he laughed again.
“You know what, Sho-chan… I don’t understand what you are talking about right now.”
He laughed loudly, “I bet you don’t…”
“Ne, Sho-chan, can I ask you something?” I tried to bring up the subject.
“Sure, but you need to check your front window first.”
“Huh?”
“Just do it…”
I walked to my front window and felt shocked when I saw someone’s writing in the dew. “Meet me in your backyard,” that was Sho`s handwriting.
I walked to the backyard and opened the sliding doors. He was there, holding a cake in right hand and an umbrella in the other.
“Happy birthday, Masaki,” he smiled widely. I smiled back, he slowly walked toward me and I helped him fold his umbrella.
We sat in the living room and I blew my candles. We ate the cake together, I was just too happy because of this surprise, that`s why he didn’t try to contact me at all these three days… But I still needed to make sure about something.
I looked at him…

“Sho-chan… I heard a woman’s voice before when we were on phone, I`m sure about that, who is she?” But I was afraid that my question would ruin this lovely moment, so I continued with eating my cake again.
