Today is Girls Day. In Japan, a country I had the pleasure to live in for some time back home, Girls Day is a day we pray for the well being and future success of the young girls in our lives.
It'd too bad it's not a national holiday like Children's Day, which is to celebrate the sons of the family. However, the Mistress was always so nice and appreciative, even when one year the Master thought he could make the rice cakes all by himself.
It was a mess but she still seemed to enjoy herself non-the-less.
I've heard of Easter! I'm not very familiar with it though. I understand there are colored eggs, which are hidden... b-but beyond that, I'm not quite sure... the details are a little fuzzy for me.

Mii. Cube is talking about the hina dolls. In Hinamizawa, sometimes we deal with the dolls differently.

There is also Children's Day, which is for the young boys in the house, but Master only had the Mistress to care for.
