Vampiric Education? [She can think of one vampire that might not be so sure about this idea, but Shiki's kind of interested.] What brought that on?

It seems many people hold grudges against vampires just for being what they are. I don't think it's fair to hate and try to kill someone just because of what they are. If they haven't proven themselves dangerous, they should be allowed to live here as we do.

[True. Very much true.] The problem with vampires is that they have the fictional stories against them. Y'know like Dracula and stuff.

I've known a few vampires here...my friend Rosalie? She drank animal blood when she was here to sustain herself and she was one of the best fashion assistants I've ever had. And another friend of mine...he's not bad at all.

So I guess what I'm getting at is...well, how can I help?

I know, but it's rubbish to judge someone and hate them just because of what they are. I've felt this myself and it isn't fair to make other people go through what I've been through. [ and that was even before the whole tortured at malfoy manor thing. ]

For now, I think taking a badge would be a start and just being a good, kind person to everyone is all we really can do. I want to raise the awareness of this sort of thing so that more and more people who really are good at heart will understand that what is happening is wrong and should never be allowed to continue.

I'm trying to keep people from hating others just based on what they are, something they can't control. We have enough enemies just being here without making more for ourselves.

Because it's wrong and it's a rubbish reason to dislike someone. [ beat. ] I've been through that and I don't want anyone else to. Some of my closest friends are from very different backgrounds. [ yes, draco, that includes you. also includes hagrid. ]
