CBC radio 2
Letter to the CBC:
To whom it may concerned,
I am very disappointed in the CBC. I've always thought of the CBC as an organization that "pushed the envelope", but the planned overhaul to radio 2 has ruined that notion for me. The planned changes are short-sighted and conformist. Does the country really need another radio station like CHFI in Toronto?

Jobs and Odds
My life has become 100% busier with the addition of a new job. This is a good thing, but of course also not such a good thing. I am now working 3 jobs, and running all over the city (my metropass is really paying for itself now). Hopefully by Sept. I can sort everything out so I stay in one place, and get decent pay and benefits - hopefully ( Read more... ) -
Not Hawaii
It seems to me like people have forgotten that Canada gets snow. How this is possible, I don't know. Over the week-end there was a 100 car pile-up on the 400, and then today there were two major pile-ups on the 401. The message that the police have been giving us for years, "adjust your driving to weather conditions" just doesn't seem to be getting ( Read more... ) -
Vermicomposting
Lindsay and I spent part of the week-end researching and setting up our very own vermicomposter! We were going to just buy a fully prepared kit, but the only place I could locate one was in Bradford, and would have cost over a hundred dollars!
