Some updates
My practice has been pretty spotty these late few years, but I'm making an effort to get back on track. I've been doing daily devotions with the Orphic Hymns (as created by Drew Campbell) for two months now without missing a day. I usually just do it all at once rather than seperating it into morning and evening. I put the hymns in to a nice little ( Read more... ) -
Anthesteria: Khytroi
Used Brandon Newberg's ritual script. Brewed up a pot of coffee and some rice pudding for offerings. Omens:
Uruz (upside down), Fehu (upside down), Raido (upside down)
When the incense and candle are spent, I'll purify the house and unveil my shrines. -
Anthesteria: Khoes
Back at home tonight. Set things up in the living room since my normal altars/shrines are veiled for the Anthesteria. Used the Brandon Newburg ritual as well as the same divination system as yesterday to keep things consistent. Hana wanted to participate tonight, so I let her observe and interact as she wanted. Anthesteria: Pithoigia
The first day of Anthesteria didn't quite go as planned. I ended up spending the night at my mom's instead of going home, so I had to improvise a bit. I printed off a copy of the ritual written by Brandon Newberg to work with. I made the hallows with a white taper candle I got off my mom, a bowl of water, and a tree made out of construction paper.
