Okay people it's winter you're shoes are covered in that slick slush-like crap and you walk into a store that has a tile floor that you WIPE YOUR SHOES! Shouldn't it be common sense in the middle of winter that as you walk in you should scuff the snow off your shoes? Come on people we already had to fill out one damned accident report already.

I'm at work tonight and I hear the following over my walkie "LOD (the store manager on duty) to the green doors (we have two sets of in/out doors. one is green; one blue) right away please" in a rather urgent tone. I like living in Iowa for the most part. I really do. In fact I don't think I could handle living in a huge city like New York City. The cost of living is lower than either coast and we don't have and the the crime and drug rate is lower here too. I mean I don't live in some hick town with 100 people. One of my friends posted a cool map of all the states he's traveled to. I thought it was a cool idea so I went and made one of my own. It reminded me of how long it'd been since I had a real vacation. Well snowplow Harry came by and buried my driveway with a 5 foot by 3 foot drift. Once again I bundle up to face the 7 more inches of white shit that'd fallen overnight. 3-5" my ass. When I went out to clear the driveway there was close to 6" of the white shit. After fighting with the snow blower for damned near 15 minutes it decided to cooperate so at least I didn't have to shovel it by hand.
