Now that amamama has received it, I can share the post. I know it's only a 'hot handle holder' but it's also the smallest pieces I've worked with evar. I used 'Thermolam' in place of my usual wadding and was pleasantly surprised at how easily it needled.

The block is 'Brigid's Cross', reduced from 12" to 6". I made and sent it as a surprise for amamama's ( Read more... )

It's lovely! The colours go so well with the kitchen wall (will post pic. Later), that rusty colour really suit the red carrara tiles. And the thread, I had to unwind and look at all the different kinds. Fantastic, just fantastic. There's a dullion different projects zooming around in my head now, trying to grab my attention, so that they will get the thread - but
