About 43C or 110F. I need to go back to Yorkshire. The prospect of living out my old age (and even middle age) in this sort of weather is getting too awful to contemplate. Australia has many things going for it but its weather isn't one of them.

This is really silly of me but I have had to stop reading Kazuro Isiguro's book "The Buried Giant" because of the mention of rabbits. Rabbits are not native to the UK and were introduced by the Normans (and I wish they hadn't) for hunting purposes.
