Title: The Beginning of The End?: How To Keep Fandom Alive in The Post-Series World
Type of session: (roundtable, panel, workshop) roundtable
Summary: A discussion of how we, as fans, will continue to participate in fandom and keep it alive now that both the books and movies are finished. Will we continue to organize cons (particularly with the recent announcement that Ascendio is HPEF's last event)? Will new fiction still be continually coming out? Do you think the fandom will ever die out or will we all just try our hardest to keep it going? How do things like Pottermore and JK's new book impact fandom participation?

Back in high schooI I actually worked in a cross-stitch shop & taught cross-stitch classes (yeah, I was a weird kid). If you think you might need some help, just let me know.

Heterosexuality Slashing (Male/Female) vs Gay Slashing (Male/Male or Female/Female). I've always know it as Het Slash so as not confuse it with the other sort of Slash, when it's all Slashing. Then I use Japanese Anime Fandom terms instead of Slash anyways.

Oh, strange. To me (and I thought most people?) "slash" denotes exclusively homosexual (male/male or female/female). "Het" and "slash" are conceptual opposites to me (and male and female is just... a ship). *shrug*
