Your words did touch me deeply, but I am afraid that I cannot repeal the decison to let him go. It was not my decision in the first place to reject his request, but of that of the Headmistress.
I do feel bad about not letting him go, but I do agree with what the Headmistress' decision. These are trying times, and as a former Auror myself, I have acess to information that students do not, and you (and everyone else) should be able to trust in out decision making skills.
I admire your convictions, and the courage it must have taken to write to me about this. It makes me wonder why you are not in my house. Any how, thank you for your concern. My door is always open if you wish to come by and talk about anything Mr. Moonstone. I just thought I'd offer that becuase I can tell you are going through trying times at the moment.
