Dear Diary and close friends,

Many of you have wondered why I seem so very hesitant to talk of many other members of my family, and some wonder why I have such distrust of Aurors and the Ministry at times.

I hope the following story will show you a bit of a reason on why I stayed quiet for so many years during my stay at Hogwarts...

It is the past, the long past, but it still hurts.

So many feel the only evils out there are the dark lord, but to me the evils are the ones that everyone assumes are the good guys.

We've never had any threat from Voldemort, but the Ministry has killed us and ours.

Muggles hate us, and think us theives or not real people...

And people wonder why we do as we do.

Every country has their own Ministry or governing body. Has the "British" Ministry killed any of you and yours?

Yes, Ralf. It happened in Ireland and their officials, and the UK Ministry holds jurisdiction beyong the muggle boundaries, being that IReland, Scotland and Wales are so much smaller.

They never even let us have his body to bury, they put him down like a mad beast..
