Don't get your hopes up (or man the barricades) there's nothing done yet beyond buying the domain.

However I'm not going to Eastercon and LB is grounded (after getting totally ratted on mead at the Twitter pawpawty Sunday night). So we've got some time to spend on setting up a site this weekend.

Steam punk should be fun,and to be honest I think it would give more scope than a techno look. pseudo Victoriana and Edwardian inventions that never were would give a nice feel to the place

Admittedly I haven't checked recently, but are you redoing ursanity or closing it and moving the lair into Lucas' domain?

Ursanity will just along until I can't be arsed to pay for the domain any longer. I'll pick out anything worth updating and move it to LB's new site and mothball the rest.

Don't get your hopes up with the new design; with the exception of your comment and one from a FB friend, I've not exactly been drowned in suggestions.

Re Steam punk, Google 'Brass Goggles' It's the main uk steam punk site it ought to give you some inspiration.

Peter put me on to that a Redemption. It's a good blog design although, after looking at it again, perhaps a Steampunk Sci-Fi loving Teddy Bear is just a little too far out?
