We stare at them every tag but sometimes we just don't get the jokes. This meme is simple: Explain why you chose your character's username, whether it be a canon reference, meme or pun.

Uh, and then there's Ed--deadbeater--from Shaun of the Dead. I don't play him here. I don't play him at all, because his character essentially just sits on the couch, eats ice cream, and plays video games.

However, he's a deadbeat and he also beats the dead---sometimes with billiards cues---and. Deadbeater.

hotheadedidiot - Anyone who knows Stahn understands this one. It's pretty simple. He's hotheaded, and he's an idiot. Nuff said.

rending_drop - It's the name of one of Karol's artes. Specifically, it's a special sidequest arte of his that he learns from Nan.

truthatjunes - Souji's all about pursuing the truth, right? And Junes plays a big role in the story, since it's where they go to solve their cases. So I guess you could say the truth is at Junes.

...Alternatively you could read it as "true that Junes", which is how most people seem to.

mischiefbreeder - Gold's role in the story of Pokemon Special is known as the breeder. He's capable of bringing out the maximum possible potential of a newborn Pokemon. He's also very mischievous. Really, it's almost like he breeds mischief.

shockingsoul - It's the name of Axel's first unique skill. Pretty simple.

Jay (lucetijay) is painfully self-explanatory. I wish I could change it, but…

- I don't want to pay to rename the account.
- I don't want to create a new one.
- I can't think of a better username. =(

Saleh (mountain_sage) - Also relatively simple. He's a sage in his canon, and he lives in a village in the mountains.

markofthewise - In the first season episode "Bato of the Water Tribe", Sokka undergoes his Rite of Passage by going Ice Dodging. After succeeding, Bato confers to him the "Mark of the Wise" for skilled leadership. (Katara and Aang receive the Mark of the Brave and Mark of the Trusted respectively.)

bluffgenius - Palom is a boy genius, being arguably one of the smartest party members even at the age of five. His special ability in both games is 'Bluff', which allows him to raise his magical power by intimidating the enemy with how powerful he is. His sister's username matches with her own special 'Pray' ability.

onebluebamf - This is meant to be read to the tune of "One Big Badass Motherfucker". Only Kurt is blue. And "BAMF" is the sound he makes when he teleports.

mikangirl - pretty straightforward - Nami grew up in a mikan orchard and it's her favourite fruit and makes up part of her tattoo, and holds a lot of significance and connection with her past.

flicker_flash Because everything else was taken Flickerflash is the name of the most powerful form of Wayfare, which is what lets her flick people around and walk through walls on occasion. Put simply, it's teleportation. For her, or for anyone or anything in line of sight. o/ She doesn't have that power, but she'll learn it eventually.
