More importantly, where the hell is his pseudo-daughter?
After a few moments he takes out his journal and speaks tersely into it, directing it towards both a certain headmaster and his brother, and the daughter of said brother.]
Rupert, Helios... I can't find Vivi. She's up and entirely disappeared.
Vivi? Where are you?
[Somewhat irritably, despite the fear in his voice:] Is this another one of those bloody natural Shifts again? I hope the Malnosso get it under control soon enough.
[If and when he gets any word (or even before then) he'll be out searching for wherever Vivi might be. ( ... )

Where have you checked so far? [He'll look everywhere else!]

... I've also checked the floor, but she isn't anywhere in it as far as I can see.
I must confess I am genuinely starting to worry. She is an intelligent and mature child, but she still shouldn't be left without assistance...

Until then I'm near Community Housing Four. I'll look around here.

[Some distress seeps into Robert's tone.] I can't afford to fail her or him. [He hates feeling so helpless, and the Shifts often cause an almost learned helplessness in him, because not even his wealth can do anything about them. It was the sort of thing that shut his family down just as much as anybody else's.
Not like he really cares about his wealth anymore. It's more a peripheral part of his life than anything... especially now, when he has Vivi and Don and... and whatever he has with the headmaster and his brother... Robert honestly isn't sure himself.
A weak, strained smile slips over his face at Vash. He's a good, kind son. Rupert is probably proud.]

[Of course, he ends up hearing from Vivi very soon after this, so he doesn't have to worry too much longer.]

Just the kind of coincidence that doesn't need to happen at this point.
Oh dear. [He may not be too close to the young woman, but she'd been an invaluable research partner, and he can't help worrying a little for her sake.] If I see any of them, I will inform you immediately.

Yes I am, Daisy. Thank you for your concern.
Initially I thought nothing was wrong; unlike others, I am in the proper building. Though... it seems odd, as though its contents were rearranged. And I do not see the work I brought home yesterday... perhaps I left it at the school?
[But it isn't like him to forget.]
Ah, well, at any rate, Vivi's safety is more important. But at least this Shift seems to be... more disorienting than dangerous.

Of course, I was rather distracted...
[The mention of the prototype armour makes him feel a little better.] I am glad that the armour was not damaged. It represents a real breakthrough... and I cannot thank you enough for your assistance. I am sure that Donatello feels the same way. [Not that he'd speak for the top engineer and co-worker, but from what he knows about Don...]
