[Frey had fallen back to the defensive lines with his squad already, determined to hold his ground there for as long as possible. Between the pouring rain ruining coordination and the pressure the opposition was placing on them, the outcome was looking grim to him.
How long could they last without reinforcements? Surely the Malnosso didn't intend to let them all die here, in a battle where little could be gained. Then again, the new people in charge didn't seem as concerned with them as Catherine had.
So that leaves Frey soaked to the bone, injured, and still fighting even though the sun has long set. He's nearly out of healing spells and the few rune scrolls he'd had left were already in the hands of those back at camp because they needed them more for the growing number of injured.]
[Sheena shouldn't be out fighting. She's run herself down and taken a solid beating or two. But it wouldn't be like her to sit around inside and wait for things to go down.
And so, here she is. How she ends up fighting there next to Frey is anyone's guess, and she's not much better off than he is. But maybe having someone to fight beside will help them both.]
[It was downright dangerous. He really hopes all the traps near the camp had been handled. He strikes out towards the soldier with his staff, a blow aimed for the torso luckily connecting.]
[And beside him, Sheena goes flying, landing without her usual roll in the mud and plant life a few feet to his left. The soldier she was fighting seems pretty satisfied with that.]
[Damn! Frey quickly dissects his staff into pieces, grabbing an end and jamming it rather brutally into the soldiers throat, heading to the side of the woman as the man collapses with his throat crushed.] Are you alright?!
[Yeah, no, he's waiting until she can get to her feet before he's leaving her side, even if a Third Party soldier chooses that moment to try to attack them.
He blocks their blade with his nunchaku, wincing as the cut in his side protests.] Get up!
[Frey finally manages to shove the man away, But as soon as he manages it, he's hunching over in shock and pain, blood seeping rapidly from his side through the banadages he'd wrapped the wound in and his uniform. What...?
And that gives the soldier an opportunity to slash out at him, sending him flying back several feet, and while he blocked most of the blow his arms and torso also got some of that hit.]
I-I'll be fine. [He's pushing himself up, already applying a first level healing spell to the wound on his side. He hadn't thought it was that deep, but the blood said otherwise...]
[Tear had also found herself pushed back to the defensive lines as the night went on, determined to not allow the Third Party to come any closer. Her companions were being treated back there, and she could not fail them any more than she already had. So she had been going throughout the fighters, assisting them with whatever heals necessary.
That is how she comes across Frey and Sheena, who both looked like they were in trouble. Best to protect them from the surrounding soldiers first with one of her barriers.] Kuroa Ryuo Zue Toue Ryuo Rei Neu Ryuo Zue...
[A song....? looking around for the source, Frey spots a woman casting... something. looking back to Sheena, Frey nods and concentrates on healing up the gash in his side with Sheena.] thanks....

[His voice is barely audible over the fighting and the pouring rain, as he rushes another soldier with his fully assembled staff.]

[These conditions make it almost impossible to fight. She can hardly see, and moving is so difficult in the rain.]

Hey! [She doesn't have much energy left but she will use Filial healing on him if it looks too bad]

[Because she's not stellar at this to begin with. Even with magic stronger out here than normal. Here, add some of her healing to his.]
