Where: House 28 (Graces House).
Summary: Pascal is throwing a house party to try and cheer everyone up, especially those of you who returned from the draft and have since filled her journal inbox with sadness and woe. It's B.

[Marica comes in looking a bit bewildered by the decorations. It's really... colorful in here.]

Are you sure? [She takes the cup anyway, furrowing a brow at it suspiciously.] Well, here goes nothing.

[She takes an overly cautious sip. Lets the taste sit on her tongue. Then she gives it another go, her expression lightening at the not unpleasant mix.] Hey, not bad. Sweet, but with a certain kick to it.

[She takes another little sip. It's not bad, but only in small doses.] I figured... Guess you gotta be careful about what people are putting in the drinks.

[Her attention wanders over to the snack table, which includes a bowl of those "chips" that they have in this world.] Hey, did you say that you were making brownies?

[The invitation surprises her a bit since... well, it's Daisy.] Is that all right? I wouldn't be intruding?

I don't make a habit of it, but I have in the past. Funny thing -- I didn't know how to play when I arrived here, but that experiment with the mixed up memories put the rules in my head.

[The experiment had taught her a lot of things, actually, like how to work the stove and make pizza. She hadn't been nearly as bad off in the aftermath, by the sounds of things.]

You know how too, I'm guessing? You seem like you'd be really good at it.

[Marica takes a sip from her cup too almost reflexively. There's something about having a cup in your hand that makes you want to drink out of it, regardless of the contents.]

Baptism by... [She's never heard the phrase, but she can guess at its meaning.] That's a dramatic way of putting it, but I guess you're right. I've played it just once before, but I'm pretty sure my opponent was cheating. [She's not bitter. Nope.]

[It's hard to tell if that was a joke, but Marica laughs either way.] No kidding, huh? I didn't know you were a fan of them.

[Sip.] It'd be nice to think that your friends wouldn't cheat against you, but I guess people just don't like the idea of leaving their chances to luck.

[Marica eyes Daisy's draining cup before taking another little sip from her own, which is still nice and weighty in her hands.]

I'll hold you to it. I've never met this Charlotte, though... Is she the type to, er, stick to the straight and narrow?
