[Ami, you're not the only one with actual social skills. Here's Robert, fluttering around like the social butterfly he is. He lacks his normally-ever-present mechanical jerkiness, and is moving around with an ease that seems totally unfitting of him.

He practically sparkles as he notices Ami - it's been far too long, they need to catch up!]

Ami! It's wonderful to see you; my, we haven't talked in ages! Have you been doing well? You certainly seem happy and relaxed today!

[Yes, he can actually tell. No, that's not unusual at all.]

Excellent! [And now Robert's just going to scoot along to Seventh Heaven, seemingly propelled by his pure positive attitude. It doesn't matter that he probably went here about half a dozen times - he likes going out and being social and happy and around other people! What better place is there to be?]

I can't wait to see who's there today - I need to meet all the workers!

I know most of them. I'll introduce you! [Ami, apparently quite pleased about this prospect, has a definite lightness to her step as they continue.]

[Normally such a crowded place would give Robert a minor panic attack. Normally he'd be going to the back of the restaurant to hide in the most isolated booth he could find, like the two times he came here before with Giles.

Today he sweeps grandly up to a table in the middle of the restaurant and pulls a chair out for Ami.]

My, it's so busy today! This is great!

Do you have anything in mind to get, Ami? It's been far too long since we had anything to eat together... [The last times were... uncomfortable, to say the least. But he can fix that!]
