[Ami, you're not the only one with actual social skills. Here's Robert, fluttering around like the social butterfly he is. He lacks his normally-ever-present mechanical jerkiness, and is moving around with an ease that seems totally unfitting of him.
He practically sparkles as he notices Ami - it's been far too long, they need to catch up!]
Ami! It's wonderful to see you; my, we haven't talked in ages! Have you been doing well? You certainly seem happy and relaxed today!
[Yes, he can actually tell. No, that's not unusual at all.]
[It's funny that both of them are so similar in many ways... and yet so different.]
It really is! I'm glad that there are such wonderful cooks in Luceti.
You know, it'd be really awesome if Mike were to work for the bakery or this restaurant or something. But he didn't seem interested before... which is a real shame. His desserts are amazing.
[This praise is very real, even if it normally wouldn't be said so exuberantly.]
Of course... I wouldn't want him to do it if he wasn't comfortable.
But he's really fantastic at it.
[Robert regrets yelling at Mike the one time, now that he can understand better why Mike was disturbed by him. It's easier to picture it with his newfound ability to read social cues.]
So are you, Ami! You've always been a wonderful inspiration to me - though, I can tone down the compliments if they're embarrassing. [He smiles winningly.
Even so, he hasn't given all her talents the consideration they deserve.]

Or... did you wanna eat a bit first? Since this looks delicious. [He grins down at the platter of food in between them.]

[And Robert takes one of the morsels - as delicately and primly as ever, but less stiltedly - and goes to work eating it.]

[Can she tell he's trying to make up for being a bit of a prat before? Because he is.]

Thank you. I think the same. For you, I mean.
