Who: Everyone! What: The event has started! When: From the beginning of the event until the end. Where: EVERYWHERE Summary: You're feeling a bit different today. Rating: All over the place, yo.
In that case! [Robert smiles and turns to a new page of his journal, filtering it to himself before writing "Grocery List:" at the top of the filtered area in his neat handwriting, then scribing down the aforementioned items.]
[All of these things are getting promptly recorded - and Robert looks up jauntily at the last note, grinning wide.]
Little sandwiches, huh? [He probably isn't aware of the custom that preceded it.] Why little ones? We could have regular-sized ones too, if people wanted, right?
Mangoes, huh? [One of the crops that probably took a beating during the Great Cleansing, what with where they grow.] Those are pretty hard to find on my world - so it'd be nice to find some again!
That's the cool thing about this place - a lot of the foods here are much different from what Terra has.
[It's called cultural and dietary variation - which Terra didn't have much of.]
It's a wonderful place. Peaceful, scientific and technological but with a respect and appreciation for nature... [Robert's tone is almost dreamy.] I miss it a lot sometimes, here.
Still am! As much as I can be in this place, anyway. I try to keep up my work, but... only so far that goes, here. Can't get my stuff back to the Randi Institute...
[His smile falters, just a moment, before it bounces back almost twice as strong though more than a little of that is fake.] Hey, but, one day I'm sure we'll all be able to go home with our memories intact! And then I'll hand it over to the Institute and they'll love it.
[Robert's expression softens a little.] I spent a lot of time composing data - writing reports, compiling information - and studying the external and internal workings of various species. It's fun for me, and I dare say some parts could be fun for other people, too! ... Though I haven't met any other people who like to do reports for fun, yet. [So sad.]
I myself wouldn't mind being able to visit other peoples' multiverses entirely, and freely! That'd be really cool. And then I could be with Don and there wouldn't be any problem... [Okay, there'd still be problems. But he's glossing those over.]
Lucy! You're looking absolutely glowing today. It's been far too long since we've talked... are you keeping well?
[He's definitely a lot less awkward since the last time they had a conversation. Is that actual social competence he has there? ... Huh. Yes it is.]

Hey, we can always have both! [Robert jots this down in his handy-dandy notebook journal, alongside the other notes.]
