Summary: Creatures and creations and whatnot from the Battle Dome are appearing all over. This is for the sake of having a mass log available for everyone, so have a free-for-all~

28th Early Morning/Onward

[ It was strange waking up and finding yourself in the room you knew all too well. Not the normal decor for Luceti, not at all, but the castle. It even made the same eerie creaks and groans like it too. Sorry housemates you might be greeted with an ominous black figure looming over you or popping up out of nowhere while you're doing something entirely mundane. They're certainly not harmful, at least not supposed to be. The phantoms might try to get your attention in less than savory ways though. They like popping in when you're eating, showering, brushing your teeth in the mirror or even just reading. So CH 7 enjoy your phantomesque creatures for the next few days. Naturally they'll disappear and re-appear where ever the next piece of the castle shows up. Helios yelps in surprise when he sees one appear out of the floor boards in the hallway. ] You really need to stop doing that!

[ Yes he is talking to the black human-like mass silently drifting behind him. ] I-I don't understand how you...got here. [ They

[Giles needs no further prompting. He doesn't try to make it through the churning storm of stone - instead, he darts around it, trying to attack Mirror!Helios from the side, trying to catch him unawares. The second he's within striking range, Giles stabs out, aiming straight between the dictator's ribs.]

[ Unawares, hardly. Mirror!Helios will still have a hand outstretched fighting back that tumultuous groaning and cracking of earth. But he will catch Giles out of the corner of his eye but only barely. He'll break off the earth spell he has going with Helios barely turning in time to dodge that sword thrust. Spikes as well will catch into his shoulder. Both still graze him and there's an angry yell from the projection. The place where Giles' sword hit phasing in and out like a screen. Mirror!Helios will send a few lightning bolts at the ex-watcher using that broadsword as a lightning rod.

Helios all the while will be rushing back towards Giles' side noting he won't get there in time. But Helios will start another spell a small tornado headed straight for the projection. That should keep it busy until it cancels the spell. ]

Giles! Look out!

[Lightning. Giles...really probably shouldn't be surprised that it's lightning, actually, since that was what he used to surprise Mirror!Helios for the final blow the first time they met. It's only fitting that both of his friend's forms have a fondness for irony.

In point of fact? Lightning conducted through well tended steel hurts a lot. Giles tries to drop the sword in the split second he has to realize that there's electricity heading his way, and knows even as it rips through his body that this is probably why he can still move when the spell dissipates. Even so, the blast of magic makes Giles cry out in pain and collapse to his knees, temporarily quite dazed.]

Giles! Damn it! [ Helios will be running over now. He couldn't deflect that attack. Stupid stupid. He should have been able too. At least the whirlwind is keeping the projection occupied...until two large blasts of air effectively dissipating the tornado Helios has conjured up. Helios' eyes glow again as a burst of flame ignites in front of them and then large, longer, taller. It looks like a snake almost, and then it forms into a sort of bird like form as it takes flight and heads straight towards Mirror!Helios. A spell from the Phoenix family.

He'll look back at Giles panting a little, a tired sort of air about him. He'll call up Nala and heal any visible damage the lightning spell might have done. ]

Are you all right?

[Gritting his teeth, Giles is already pushing himself back to his feet. The sword is still shaking in the air as the last of the electricity leaves his hands.]

I'm fine.

You've defeated him before. What should we do?

[ Defeated wasn't exactly the word. More along the lines of sealed his powers to never be used again. Helios isn't sure that would work on this...thing. He'll look around thinking. ] Give me a few minutes. Keep him distracted. I think...I have an idea.

[ Helios hates asking this of the other, make yourself bait. It isn't his normal method of doing things. Hopefully it works. ]

[Hopefully it works. Because Giles, after reassuring himself that all systems are functional, will nod and step forward.]

Stay back.

[And, with that, Giles will dart forward, feigning a slash to the chest while actually going for a sharp kick to the sympathy nerves in the back of the thighs. If it connects, Mirror!Helios should be well and truly distracted.]

[ It might, or might not. Helios isn't sure but they have to try. Helios gets to work on the spell he's been practicing ever since he met Hyt all those months ago. Coupled with his own illusion spells this should work...technically. The projection of Mirror!Helios takes that hit with a resounding yell of anger. He falls to the ground rolling away and casting that familiar air blade spell. It might or might not connect and if it does it will do the minimal damage of tearing Giles' shirt from where it hit and cause a few cuts into his skin.

Also rock like snakes might start popping out of the ground around Giles' feet, attempting to latch onto his ankles to try and pin him down. ]

[That resounding yell of anger is music to Giles' ears. He pursues as Helios tries to roll away, not wanting to let the other get the advantage. He deflects the spell as best as he can with Kipinn - the worst damage is a long, very shallow cut to the stomach.

The rock snakes? Those are a problem. Giles is forced to focus his attention on avoiding those, once they pull their way free from the earth. Getting tied up in this situation would be a very bad thing.]

[Lina was just trying to take a rest in the library from the helter-skelter that has been her second experiment.

She was just trying to take down that latest manga volume in the series Masaomi and Mikado showed her.

What she did not want was for the black human shape to dart out of the shelves straight for her.]

[ Helios has been in the library trying his hardest to get the phantoms to stop terrifying people. No dice. It was like they had a mission to give him this incredible headache. The scream from Lina does not go unnoticed and he'll be rushing over now, worried.

He'll see the phantom disappear into the floor boards just as it almost goes through Lina. Just a slight 'tsk' noise. ] Oh for heaven's sake would you all stop doing this? [ He'll give Lina an apologetic smile. ] Are you all right?

No, I am not all right! [Sorry about the head ache, Helios, but Lina tends to get...very, very loud when she's just had a shock.] What the hell was that?!

[ Helios tends to get flinchy when people yell at him, so you know, don't mind him. ] Ah-yes, um. Phantoms. From...from my castle. They seem to be acting rather strange. They, they didn't hurt you did they?

Scared the living daylights out of me. What, is this their book or something? [Lina holds up the offending manga volume.]

W-well they probably think it is. They're not usually this defensive to the library books, you know. I-I mean usually they just help keep track of books taken out. They don't really...attack people for taking them out.

[ It's all rather bewildering to Helios. ]
