Still, there's a lot to complement on, and she even - unasked, most likely - brought along an assortment of cookies for the occasion. Are they edible? With certain guidance she did keep to a sane matter of recipes at least -- at the most, she only got creative with the cookie cutters, involving various geometric shapes and sizes. They're quite harmless and hopefully somewhat tasty otherwise -- some are ordinary chocolate chip, sugar, and of course the majority being lemon. A carefully planned assortment.

A warning might help, if she remembers come spring. Jack is still a bit miffed that Raine's so-called love interest doesn't present her with magnificent bouquets.
