[On the 25th, no one but Luke will see hide or hair of Asch (unless they drop by). He'll be in bed. Sleeping all day. Not moving. Yeeeep.
The 2nd day, he will (reluctantly) get out of bed, and he'll even say he's happy to be up. But that's where the lies begin.
The 3rd day, the lying continues, but he's wandering around the village, searching for a good place to... cut his hair. And he's really doing it! He totally is! He just... needs someone around to see it happen. It'll be great! He'll change, he really will! You can't stop him!
(Please for the love of god someone stop him.)
And assuming he is stopped - or left unnoticed - the hair will have to stay. ...Tied up in a bun at the base of his neck, that is.
Because on the 4th day (and every day after until it's over) he's wearing this. After all, he's changed.]

It's only when he goes outside to gather the groceries that he lost on the first day this was happening, with a different set of clothes on at that, that he finds his outfit. On someone else. Someone he didn't expect it to be on.]
... Asch?
[And jogging up to now - bro what are you doing with his awesome outfit.]
Reply
Luke! There you are! I was looking for you.
Reply
Asch honestly looks more like him than ever before.]
Wh... What? For me?

[Asch shuffles a little awkwardly, reaching up to toy idly with his new hairstyle. It's not quite a duck-butt, but it works, right? Doesn't he look the part?]
Reply
Oh.
It's like a gaping hole opened up in his chest. Luke's face pales, and he feels much colder than the weather ought to make him. Asch didn't even say much, yet Luke felt as if his legs were kicked out from under him, and all he can do is stare with wide eyes and his mouth slowly opening, wanting to say something, yet not knowing what.
Is... Is this how Asch felt? All those years ago? Because this looked a lot like being... replaced. His clothes, his hair, his looks... now his name. Even his mannerisms, somewhat. It was an awful feeling, like someone dumped freezing cold ice water all over him.
And he still can't say anything. What can he say? A year ago he would've been just fine with handing his name over. But now... now...
"I'm proud to be Luke fon Fabre."]
Reply
...Right, trying a little concern then.]
Are you... okay? You don't want to give it back anymore?
Reply
He shuffles back a step, but that's all. Something hits him, then.
This feels wrong.
This shouldn't be why Asch would ask for his name back. Not because he wants to be Luke the replica... And that's what it looks like he's trying to do. To copy him. Asch should want that name back to be Luke again, not the fake Luke.
He doesn't meet his eyes.]
... Why do you want it back?
Reply
I just... don't want to be myself right now. I know I'd be better off as someone else. And being you would be easiest- I mean, we already look alike, right? So it makes sense.
Reply
...
Luke can understand that. But this... This is still wrong. He isn't even sure why Asch is doing this... Then again, Luceti's been really weird lately. Maybe this is part of it...
Maybe he shouldn't. But... He reaches out to grip Asch's shoulder, perhaps a bit too tightly. Forgive him, he's still pretty unsure about all of this.]
This... isn't the way you change, Asch. Do you really want to be me? Is that really how you want to change yourself? By being someone else?
Reply
...Dammit, this is hard.]
Why not? It worked before- becoming Asch saved my life. Besides, you have everything I've ever wanted. You've never been alone.

[And without Noir and the others here, it's up to him. He's got to find some way to stop Asch from doing it! And keep his job for at least a while longer! Really, how could Ginji not have noticed? Asch was going to fire him even after all four of them had agreed to stick around and see things through to the end. He'd already ordered the Dark Wings off and now it must be Ginji's turn.]
Where'd Asch disappear to this time? He could be anywhere...
[Turning a corner.]
Reply
Hey, what the hell! Watch where you're going!
Reply
Sorry!! I'm sorry, I was in a hurry and there's--
[Ginji finally turns to help whoever it is he just knocked over.] Asch. [He hesitates with his arm about halfway extended towards him and frowns. And. Lets the arm drop.]
Listen, I know you're not going to like it, but I really can't let you go through with this!
Reply
What are you talking about? I haven't even told you what I'm doing yet!
Reply
It's okay, I managed to figure it out on my own. Although I will admit the journal helped a little.
[His attention finally shifts to the object glinting on the ground. What could Asch want with a pair of scissors? Tailoring?]
