When it comes to housing and the event itself -- will everyone still be in the same house they've always been in when the event starts and thus be kind of confused, or will they be voodoo'd into certain houses (of our choosing, I'm guessing) with the rest of their immediate "family"?

People will no doubt have a freakout over waking up in the wrong places and have a mass exodus to their 'correct' homes. They will most likely assume it's just some experiment type thing.

Plotting out what the 'correct' home for each family is something you folks can work out.

Should we maybe start an "AU Housing Post" for that? Some of us are crazy about details like that and it'd be nice to determine which house belongs to which family.

Regarding the special items question in the Q&A - would it be acceptable to assume that Nu's Murakumo unit was made by the Malnosso in this AU? That'd probably be the easiest way to explain it, I think, seeing as it's made by a team of scientists in canon as well, but if that's not okay, I'll try to think of something else that works. :|b

Well the Malnosso aren't explicitly going to be involved with anyone's AUs. However if you would like to have it as some sort of 'permanent' side effect to some childhood disappearance/mallynapping, that would be fine. She just wouldn't know why or how it happened.

That works, I think! And it's probably the most logical way to explain how she'd still have it, too. Or at least that explanation's a lot more similar to her canon backstory than assuming it used to belong to a Third Party member or something, seeing as canon says that it's part of her body and all. ♪

Um, for characters that are married for this AU - would it be acceptable for them to have some sort of proof of that, if both muns are okay with it? Be it a ring, a blue feather, a necklace, something like that. Or should their possessions generally be the same as in canon!Luceti, so if would normally have something like that in the AU, these items would be "missing" from their possessions?

They can have these items (and others really), but they won't exist after the AU.

Will characters remember the event after it ends?

It will most likely be handled the same as the previous AU event. They WILL remember it, but it's To Be Determined how much or little will stick with them.

How are the journals and their usage explained in this AU?

Will there be similarities in experiments/events to the real world, like Bil giving gifts in December and John's vacation carnival?

When the Third Party started attacking in this AU, did the Malnosso assist them?

Probably a gift from the Malnosso. Or something they're able to magic up. It's to be determined still.

Yeah, there will. They probably happened more or less the same way.

The Malnosso continue their role in providing weapons, tactics, and that sort of thing for each 'draft'.
