Boston has me and amazing MIT people and Lusann and Elizabeth. And tonight I was poked in the direction of coffeeshops, so we might have those too. They are not as awesome as Seattle, but the people make up for all of this.
Aside: Humza, do you know of a free program that can save stuff as a .pdf? I'm also applying for scholarships, and they keep asking for an unofficial transcript; but I don't have an electronic copy. I do, however, have a print copy, and I was thinking I could scan it in, save it as a .pdf, and thereby send it electronically instead of having to go to the registar and get fifteen unofficial transcript request forms.
I would like to point out that the Seattle Zoo is in the north of the city and does have a lot of strange statuary and autumn leaves. Also, a nice rose garden. And baby snow leopards. The zoo does not have lots of Starbucks, but the rest of the place does.
Maybe try talking to a human to bypass the forms and silly timing? Humans in offices sometimes have powers which automated procedures to not, and can fix things for situations that the forms and silly deadlines to not anticipate, like Marvel internships that don't notify until December.
