Woke up this morning, emailed boss saying I wasn't coming in, went back to sleep. Woke up again a bit after 4pm, mostly because my room was about 87F. I'm not sure I can properly express the degree to which I do not want to go outside and do anything today. Alas, shus must wued.

This is what comes of living in LA and so near Hollywood.

Actually contemplating asking out one of the waitresses at a bar I go to that I flirt with every time I go in. Where does the fun-flirt become a "no, really" flirt? Tricksy, tricksy.

11 hours at work today. Rough, but I cut 50 lines of if-checks down to a 2-line statement, removing an equal number of possible fail points. Which was fucking magical. Went for sushi as a celebration. Dropped $50 on it, but damn it was tasty and completely worth it. This week is probably going to be more of the same. Taking over more duties of one ( Read more... )

Okay, not quite true, but I have been buying things lately. And getting excited about it when they get here or I wear them for the first time. Yes, the things have been predominantly clothes.
