I met with my French teacher today to correct my latest French paper. I'd had to write a movie review, and Amira and I chose "L'Auberge Espagnole," which was a fairly enjoyable movie (much to the chagrin of the other library patrons, who had to listen to us laugh inordinately loudly while listening to the film on headphones). Haha, I put in a little bit about that in my paper. "L'Anglaise est étonnée quand la mère de Vincent parle de la 'fac,' parqu'elle pense qu'il s'agit d'un vilain mot." Not quite as exciting in print, I'm afraid.

Best part of that movie, when her boyfriend surprise-visits her and he finds her brother in bed with that scruffy musician. Solid movie. You should watch the sequel.

She's looking into the Morehead area, I think she said?
Seems to me that it's the middle of nowhere. But I'm just a city-girl at heart! She's been out there twice and adores it.

My family is from near Morehead, which is out in Eastern Kentucky. It's a little too rural even for me, haha. The nearest city is Lexington, which is about an hour or hour and a half drive away, and it's still a fairly small city (about 300,000-500,000 people). Who in the world decides to move to Morehead? Haha.
