Interesting fact: The New York Times wrote about
chicken rice. I've loved NYT's food writing for a long time, mainly because the quality of food journalism in Singapore is rather... questionable ("The sauce was good, but did not complement the steak very well" tells me nothing). It's also all I ever really read in newspapers; fashion and food, and

I am going to Munich next week but I'd really like to go to Berlin as well. It sounds wonderful, and I want to go see the Berlin Wall too, touristy as that sounds. I'm kind of a history nerd and these things excite me ridiculously.
I really love England. I've been to London a few times (the last time was in 2005) but it's different when you're not with family, I think. I've been meaning to go back and check out the National Gallery but these are things you can never do properly while you're on holiday. Every time I go I end up just seeing 1/3 of it and not finishing the rest. It is pretty expensive though, but I will probably be in England for an insane amount of time. I have friends studying in Oxbridge as well as in London and Bristol; two friends in York as well! The only part I've seen is the cathedral and the university, because I went on a school trip, and we only spent a night there :( I would love to see more of York.
aajgdg thank you ♥ Am now ridiculously excited about travelling.

Prague is absolutely beautiful. Scenic and rather clean, you have to visit the Astronomical Clock and see the view of the river with St. Vitus in the background. Of course, go and visit St. Vitus's cathedral as well.
I actually can't point out anything specific for Vienna other than Schonbrunn, but I like the feeling of the city very much. And it has the reputation of having the best classical music in the world.
I think Italy is fun overall, but I think my favorite would be Rome. Definitely! It's feels romantic and historical all at the same time and the people are friendly and if you find the right places, food is defintely not expensive.
That should be it for now. . .XD

Oh yes Rome. I've been to Rome before, and it was beautiful. About cheap... well it was before they introduced the euro, but I'm not so sure now. I'm sure if I look hard enough I'll find some good stuff though!
Thanks for the recommendations!

CHINA IS FAR AWAY NOW. Only been to Shanghai, Tianjin, Chengdu and Beijing, though. Well, and Hong Kong, if that counts. I love Hong Kong. ♥

Haha, yes it was me. Thank you! My camera has a cool colour function thing where it can pick up any colour and the rest of the shot will be black and white. It's fun to play around with :) But I heard you can do that with Photoshop, too...
There were more where those came from but they all have my face, so I didn't post them up here.
Ahhh, until Johnny's took up 90% of my internet time, this was all I used to do - surf fashion and food blogs. Then I started watching j-dramas seriously (before that I'd watched on and off - I was a huge fan of Kindaichi and watched the 2005 special without even knowing it was KAME! To me he was just the "guy who looks like a girl", hahaha) and discovered and then I discovered Jin and... the rest is history.
Still. I keep surfing food blogs for recipes I can cook as a student without killing my wallet or my stomach, since I have zero ideas of my own XD XD
